New Construction

Beginning in March 2000, Capital Studio Architects, LLC in partnership with Jacunski Humes Architects, began a feasibility study of a new Public Safety Complex.  The site ultimately determined to be the most suitable location required the relocation of the Board of Education offices.  The offices have been relocated to Redevelopment Site No. 3, in a collage of historic buildings and new construction.  The Public Safety Complex is 80,000 SF and the Board of Education Offices are 20,000 SF.

The Board of Education moved into their new space in November 2003 and the Public Safety Complex was occupied in late Summer 2004.  Total cost of the project is 27.25 million dollars.
